Power amplifier is to amplify a weak signal until sufficient power is achieved to operate a output device.

Amplifiers up to 45GHz in coaxial and surface mount option, and MMIC’s are available will be used over a wide range of both linear and saturated applications, including network infrastructure, radar, test and measurement and communication systems, telemetry, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and tactical communication systems .

Amplifier output power may be anything from less than 1 Watt to several hundred Watts.

The basic applications of the RF power amplifier include driving to another high power source, driving a transmitting antenna and exciting microwave cavity resonators. Among these applications, driving transmitter antennas is most well known. The transmitter–receivers are used not only for voice and data communication but also for weather sensing (in the form of radar)
